Diana is not the type who melts at a touch and yet it is the only word she can think of for how it feels to finally kiss the person she had spent some time not allowing herself to do so. (Even if that did sound overly dramatic to her own mind, and definitely not something she would openly tell him because she knew he would make mocking comments. Though, to be fair, so would she.) She finds herself grateful for the anonimity that the dance club they have come to allows them, as she knows anywhere else someone would have made comment about the couple kissing at a table. Here, it is simply a thing that happens.

"As if you are not teasing me right now," she murmurs back, a hand curling around his wrist.

Loki wouldn't care if someone did say something. He was the type that he was going to kiss Diana and he didn't care what people had to say about it. For him, to finally be able to make up for lost time, he was going to hesitate twice.

Both hands moved up to cup her face as he kissed her, sucking lightly on her bottom lip. "Tell me to stop," he murmured. "Push me away, my demigoddess."

She couldn't help but smile into the kiss, eyes closed with a blissful expression on her face. This was more than worth waiting for, even if the waiting had been her own stupid decision. There was a soft laugh, her eyes opening to just look at him.

"Never."

As if to prove her words, she pulled him closer, nipping at his own lips and a hand curling into his hair. She did not care if anyone did say anything, she was enjoying this too much.

One hand moved out, slowly guiding itself to her hip. It was just a kiss. And yet, it was a passionate and powerful kiss. He moaned against her lips, leaning into her hand as his tongue slipped along her upper lip. "So beautiful," he murmured, a shiver running through him. She was amazing, like an electric shock to his system.

"You make me want to dance all night," he whispered against her lips. "You make me never want to go back to that compound, that ship..." He sighed, gently cupping her hip, holding it firm beneath his fingers.

After his mention of never wanting to go back to the compound, Loki may be surprised to see a hint of mischief appearing in Diana's expression. It's a small glint in her eyes, and the way her mouth quirks upwards as if expecting rebuke but not ashamed of the reason why. She gives a soft laugh, looking up at him with that expression of mischief, and leans close so that she does not need to fight to be heard over the music.

"Then it is a good thing I had not planned on taking you back tonight, no matter what, isn't it?"

If Diana wanted to shock Loki, she was doing a damn fine job of it. In all the ways that he had planned the night to go, this was not how he saw it ending up. Her soft lips on his, welcoming his tongue and his hands in a way he’d always fantasized about. The soft purr of her voice in his ears doing things to his body that he’d always imagined. And now, her words tempting him in a way that he’d never expected, ever. He swallowed, staring at her in shock, wordless.

Finally, after a few moments of silence, he finds his voice. “I guess. Shall I just pay the bill now?” He was half-teasing, but there was a part of him that wanted to whisk her straight away. His lips brushed against her neck, nuzzling the small spot behind her ear as he inched his chair closer to her. ”Diana…” He sighed, breath warm against her skin. “Do not tempt me. I’m not sure my heart could take it.”

It was kind of amusing to see Loki so lost for words, if only because she didn't think it had ever happened before in all her time of knowing him. That being said? She did give a look as if to ask him who she thought he was.

"I would not lie about such a thing," she said. "Though I must admit when I did come up with the original plan, I did think I would be getting two separate rooms."

"Oh no. There is no need for two rooms." He smirked, pulling her hand up to his lips and gently kissing it. His lips ghosted up her arm to her shoulder, before wrapping around her and pulling her side to his chest. His lips glided over her neck, up to her ear as he teased at her skin. It was so soft, so delicate, all he wanted to do was mark it.

"You... I feel like this is some trick. I know not if I should be nervous or proud," he whispered. "Though, I know it is no trick. I cannot help but be confused and torn, my beautiful demigoddess." One hand trailed down her side, lingering at her hip. "Let me take you somewhere more private."

The slight shiver at his touch was new, though she knew (and would reasonably assume he knew as well) that it was not from cold, but something altogether more pleasant. A build up of nerves that was getting near to the surface and creating a sensation that could only grow before it managed to break free. A something that she found herself very much looking forward to experiencing. Her hand gripped at his free one, squeezing in at the fingers in a gesture of... anticipation? Perhaps. It did feel like the best word to describe everything at that moment. A anticipation brimming below the surface. She could feel it, could feel everything in a way that was so much more. Delicious anticipation.

Her other hand drifted over the the one of his on her hip, and she did not move from her close lean into him. "If you are ready, know I am ready," she said, words soft even in the loudness around them. "Shall we?"

While he wasn't ready to just drag her out of the club or magic them back to her car, the impatience he had in his eyes was there. His head tilted and he slowly pulled back from her. His movements were fluid as he stepped behind her, waiting for her to rise to her feet so that he could offer his arm to her as escort.

The feelings he had of anticipation were just as sensitive as yours. He couldn't put into words the excitement that was coursing through him. He felt like he would never be able to sleep or eat, anything else that may be vital to survival were second to finally being able to spend time alone with her. This wasn't like any other time before. This was new.

"Back to the chariot, m'lady?"

She took the offered arm, oddly grateful that he hadn't just used his magic to remove them, even though she knew he was more than capable of such a thing. She gave the arm a small squeeze, the same kind of gesture she had given to his hands. It was reassurance for herself as much as it was a gesture of reassurance towards him. This was happening. It was not a trick of either of their minds, and it was not something that would turn to be a trick.

"Yes," she said. "The hotel I am staying in," because she had to have somewhere to stay while in New York and she did not want to be in a position to have to rely on Tony Stark, "is a short drive from here. There is a nice view from my window."

Loki smirked as he led her out of the club, greatly enjoying the look they were getting. Some were arousal, the others were anger, and all of them told him what he already knew. They were the two hottest people in the room. He escorted her out the front door and they took the small walk back to her car. He'd have to let her drive, if only because he didn't know where she was staying. He was a complete gentleman, opening the door for her, doing everything a gentleman would do.

He'd lose the persona when they were alone in her hotel room. Then he could really let[l glo.

"The only view I already want to see is standing beside me," he said softly. Winking down at her, he hoped that she was half as elated as he was.

There was another laugh at the comment, one that showed not only was it accepted, it was delightful to hear. It didn't take long, to get to the car, and then to get the short distance across the city to the hotel. Loki would be unsurprised to see it was one of the nicer hotels in the city. She had mentioned to him before that her work kept rooms on retainer in case they were needed - it would not do for a place such as the Louvre to be seen sending their employees of rank somewhere with any less than four stars.

She hadn't lied either, the view from her room was quite lovely.

He wasn't sure what was more beautiful, Diana or the view. In truth, the answer was Diana, but the view was also quite spectacular. The whole city could be seen from their high suite. Strong arms wound around her from behind, pulling her close as he gazed out the window over her shoulder. A small sigh slipped out as he brushed his fingers down her arm.

"I do not blame you for wanting to stay here. It is lovely," he murmured softly into her ear. "Though, it pales in comparison to you."

She rubbed her hand along the arm wrapped around her, taking the brief moment to enjoy the view. "I did want to show you it." It had to be better than the same old view day in, day out, that he was subjected to at the compound. She turned around, carefully, to face him, a hand going to rest on his cheek. Her lips quirked into that smirk again

"But then again, we're not here for the view. Lovely as it may be." She deliberately looked him up and down. "This one is one I enjoy as well."

"Is that so?" He smiled and watched her as she turned to face him. One hand reached out and he ran his fingers slowly down the length of her body, letting his hand slide back to cup her ass and pull her closer. There was a deep, hungry look in his eyes as he stared at her, like a wolf that wanted to devour her. "I'm grateful for the nice window, I'd rather stare at you."

He smirked down at her, licking his lips as he let his face hover over hers. "I have always enjoyed your beauty, your smile haunts my dreams when I'm all alone for years. I think of you."

The hungry looked was perfectly mimicked in Diana's own expression, hands trailing along his shoulders as if she were testing the durability of the seams. Not that she would rip one of his shirts - tempting as it was - she knew he wouldn't necessarily appreciate it, no matter what happened after it. It did not stop it seem like that what she was doing.

"As your teasing smirk haunts mine," she muttered back at him, lifting her hand to hover her fingers in front of that exact smirk. Oh, the ways that smirk had entered her mind over the years. It caused a faint flush to appear just thinking on it.

"Does it? This one?" Leaning forward, he smirked as he kissed each and every one of her fingertips. One hand moved down to her hip, fingers digging lightly into the fabric of the dress she's wearing. It's not something that he wants to rush. And yet, there's a desire and an intensity inside of him he is struggling to keep at a minimum.

He smiled, leaning in to press a kiss to the corner of her mouth. "Now what, my demi-goddess?" He knew what he wanted, but he wanted to hear her say it.

She keeps her kiss back light, trying not to give in too much right away. It had always been a game between them and even know she hoped that playfulness would not leave. Her hands coursed down his arms, around his back, and reached the waistband of his trousers, smoothing along the fabric there in what was a very deliberate teasing manner.

"Take me to bed, my mischief maker."

"As you wish." And before she could stop him, Loki grabbed her and swung her up over his shoulder. One hand reached out, swatting her on the behind as he carried her through the suite to the bedroom area of it. He was partially gentle as he carried her over to the bed and lightly threw her on it. Like an animal who wanted to claim his prey, he crawled on top of the bed, on top of her. "My beautiful demi-goddess," he purred as he leaned in, nuzzling her neck.

Diana wanted to laugh as she was thrown on the bed, but the laugh died in her throat as Loki stalked towards her, crawling on the bed. It made her throat feel dry. She reached out with a hand, a deep smile on her face.

"My handsome God of Mischief."

"All kidding aside," he purred. "I've wanted you from the first moment I laid eyes upon you. You are more than just a beautiful creature. You are a fierce warrior. You..." He sighed, leaning in to press a kiss to the palm of her hand. "You have a kind heart and a loving eye."

He really didn't deserve someone as good as she was to him.

"I will always be your trickster if you will have me."

"I hope I have made it clear that I will."

It's a soft response, sincere and teasing all at the same time

He is so very tempted to use his magic now, in the bedroom, but he refrains. At least, for the first time, he wants it to be just them. He even refrains from using his magic to remove the last vestiges of their clothing. Even as much as he loved her in a matching green to his, he wanted all the clothes gone. He'd wanted this for so long that he was almost wasn't sure how to act.

Strong hands slowly slip up her body as his lips easily find hers. The kisses start soft, the touches slow and caressing. While there is an intensity in him that has been building for many, many years now, he has no desire to start a war. He wants to take his time, draw this out and truly embrace the woman that had taken his heart so many years ago.

She was the only one for him.

On her part, there was no rushing into anything. Slow, languid kisses, hands moving down fine fabric... The build up could be as delicious as the act itself, if both parties knew what they wanted. She does slowly start at some of the buttons on his shirt, the top few. Just slowly.
